Growing up, my favorite thing in the entire world was my great aunt's chocolate cake. Made with the maximum amount of butter and slathered in fudgy chocolate icing, Aunt Lula's chocolate cake was one of the best parts of childhood. As an adult, I was inspired by her love of delicious baked goods with simple, high quality ingredients. Baking special occasion cakes and decorated sugar cookies started as a hobby and quickly became a full time job.
While I have loved being a part of so many special events, I have fallen in love with the art of sourdough bread. There is no greater satisfaction than pulling a beautiful loaf of bread out of the oven. What started as a small, one man operation has turned into a family business that is expanding to meet the needs of our community. Thank you so much for your support.
